Social Networks are not safe

Posted by rexdixon on December 2, 2006

Well they can be deadly actually. This article talks about all the security holes there are within some of the bigger social networks such as MySpace, as well as videos on YouTube.

These security holes could actually help a murder take place. I feel that isn’t the biggest concern that was being pointed out, but security leaks do lead to the possibility of bad things happening.

This of course is NOT a post to discourage the use of social networks. It’s more like to provide general awareness that there are things on a social network that you need to be aware of. Technically Speaking, there is nothing wrong with posting some semi-public service announcements, right?
