Idio, FOX and MySpace, Facebook beta testing

Posted by rexdixon on October 24, 2006

Idio is a flash magazine launching tomorrow. Marshall of TechCrunch thinks it will succeed and is a look into the future.  It is Angel funded and based in the UK. There we go again — another foreign country innovating!

FOX-TV is putting it’s losing shows on MySpace exclusively. I guess my buddy up in Chicago – you know – Trashy Feelgood will now be able to see some loser shows on MySpace!

Facebook users ONLY at Berkeley and Stanford are given the opportunity to help them beta test a new feature called social bookmarking.

Technically Speaking – one more quick hit coming up!

  1. What is wrong with Rex Dixon testing the Facebook Beta Site, isn’t he good enough to test the Facebook beta? Or is it they don’t want a decent test from someone who knows beta sites, Technically Speaking that is…

If I was in college, I would be on Facebook — but Rex Dixon isn’t in college, and I wonder about the whole Stanford — Berkeley thing. Maybe that is where their core group started or is currently the most activity? No clue, just report the facts as I see them.
