Mobile Linux and Investors, Microsoft goes Open Source!

Posted by rexdixon on October 17, 2006

Investors are now seeing money in Linux on the cell phone. It appears that VC firm Garnett & Helfrich Capital said it is buying Linux mobile software company Celunite. Linux has always been a better OS in Rex Dixon’s opinion at least. I can see Linux working well on allot of mobile devices, and for those type of code writers, it looks like business is going to be very good in the near future.

Microsoft goes Open Source. Unbelievable, right? Well on a new project they are working on called VHD (Virtual Hard Disk) Image Format specifications.

Technically Speaking, all good news on that post!
