AOL Sells Out, Cisco AON, Eudora set free

Posted by rexdixon on October 11, 2006

AOL sells their UK unit for $688 million to a UK ISP Carphone Warehouse. Oh, did I happen to mention this was a CASH deal, not a $1.65 Billion STOCK deal. AOL is dying a slow death, will Google or Yahoo please buy them and end the bleeding before there is blood on the masses?

Cisco appears to be getting in on this Application / Software thing now. Should be interesting to see them compete with the other’s. What others you say? Well you weren’t paying attention today, were you?

Eudora is finally set free. Free to be Thunderbird that is!

Technically Speaking, I’m running late for tonight’s podcast.
