Audio Recording Help

Posted by rexdixon on September 20, 2006

Has any of the readers out there been able to get the following to work?

Logitech Headset mic/earphones

Echo Darla card

I have the adapters that work on the receive side of the card; works fine as a matter of fact (RCA out/in connections). The setup (identical) does not work on the input side.

I went back to the Mackie board, using the same RCA hook ups to the tape in, and that doesn’t work either. I’m sort of stuck hooking up a regular XLR mic to do the podcast at this point. I can however do the podcast on the laptop, but don’t for some obvious HD limitations.

The reason I ask this here – is that my top read blog post over the past couple of days has been my post on the Cool Edit Pro how to. I’m glad you readers like that one; or find it useful.

Yes, Technically Speaking, I’m asking for some help here! I know there has to be someone out there that has done this and made it work!
