ZapTXT, is a Mountain View startup that is angel funded. It makes RSS easy to understand for some. You know the type, the Presto supposedly aged, dying, and old computer ignorant people.
I think simply making things understandable is the way to go with the supposed old people that don’t have computer knowledge. Dumbing it down, until someone understands is the way to go. I have in my life taught software classes, and sometimes you just have to simplify things for people until they “get it“. I have also been on the other side being a musician and having the more accomplished musician show me a riff, over and over again.
Technically Speaking, this looks like a nice service for those that still haven’t jumped on the feed reading wagon yet.

I love it when I get comments from people who are articulate and can make a point. Brian who left me a comment on my post today about Presto did make some very interesting points and arguments.
How many of you readers out there feel the same as Brian did today? Do you support what he said, or are you on the side of “if it’s too loud, you are too old“? Rex Dixon can still turn up the radio with the best of them! Of course I have stayed as young as the times we live in, and that radio Technically Speaking is a mp3 file!

With the release of the “Superman Returns” DVD, Walmart has decided to give the digital download format a go. An addtional $1.97 more enables you to play it on portable devices, $2.97 more to play it on PCs or laptops, or $3.97 more to play it on either portable devices or PCs/laptops. But not in iPods. The reason for that is they think the format is not compatible for the Apple iPod.
Technically Speaking, you can get anything at Walmart, and now you can download your new release videos too. Who needs a TV?

Bitwine, is consulting via Skype online. I think this might have a future. There are a ton of consultants out there that need to leverage the internet, but can’t find a way to make any money at it. Experts are out there to help you 24/7. When Skype 3.0 comes out, Bitwine will be a Skype plugin.
Technically Speaking, I think my bud down in Addison might be interested in this! Don’t tell me you don’t know Mr. Business Golf yet?

Remember when Zune came out? I’m sure everyone does. Remember how it leaked that the main man from Doug Morris was all over it?
Now it appears he is going after Apple’s iPod. Technically Speaking, Doug you might think you are a “thug”, but Steve Jobs is about to lay the smackdown on ya!
