The Google SpaceShip mystery was solved. I figured that Google wouldn’t really be wasting their money on SpaceShipOne. Then again I also thought that Google wouldn’t offer $1.65 Billion for YouTube.
Vista, the new OS by Microsoft. Will it be secure? Will McAfee get a chance to look at the 64 bit kernel before Vista hits the shelves and new PC’s? Interesting questions are raised, and with the antitrust case all but buried by the DOJ, Microsoft pretty much will have a free ride to the market.
Technically Speaking, Rex Dixon will not have a computer powerful enough to run Vista at least in the 1st quarter of 2007 when it’s released; maybe when Vista service pack 3 is released, I will then have a computer powerful enough to run. Service Pack 3 I’m sure will be out by 3rd quarter 2007 just in time for Christmas!

Google. The name is funny actually. Say Google in back in 1995 and people would have said,”Google, quit babbling baby talk! Google to YouTube!” Okay, they wouldn’t have said YouTube, but the pun was great, right? The only thing YouTube in 1995 was still the band from San Francisco called The Tubes. That was the only YouTube or close to it there was in 1995!
Move forward to 2006 now. Present day America is obsessed with Google. Google has Wall Street starstruck. In fact, they Go Gaga Over Google!
Once you reach #1 like Google has. The main question for Google of course is “What’s Next?”
Could this rumor about Google be true? If anyone has pictures or information about Google employees actually participating in the project of moving SpaceShipOne into a Google area hanger called Building 43 on Google property, Rex Dixon would sure like some information on this Google event!
Technically Speaking, that does it for the Google roundup; Rex Dixon actually finds the other blog posts that were NOT Google related today more interesting places to visit and investigate then another Google Docs and Spreadsheets, or Google Reader or even Google stock prices.

One last thing before we go Google crazy. This actually has to deal with You Tube, which as everyone knows is more like GooTube these days! Scrybe is a site that isn’t exactly launched yet, but they have a video up on YouTube showcasing their new site. I agree with the article, as this is a startup that is worth watching! Online office sites are more interesting then Google, but I do listen to the Google Nation and will comply now!

Lot’s more stuff to catch up on right?
PicLens is a photo plug in from CoolIris. Pictures and photo sites are big on the internet these days. This is about the 4th this week! I’m glad for the photo people, but sad that all people want to read about is Google!
MusicNation - can we say American Idol web’ified. I know, I know.. you want to read about Google!
YesNoMayB is a new speed dating site. I will agree with the techcrunch guys - this looks like a winner in the speed dating area. Uhm, I did talk about that in a recent podcast of 7 Minutes with Rex Dixon! Well it wasn’t so much about speed dating, but I did mention and compare it to speed business networking in my podcast.
Okay, I know you want to all hear about Google or YouTube or Google and YouTube — but there is really just MORE information out there besides that… so keep reading — don’t worry, you will get the complete Google roundup in a second…
Paint.net – is a piece of software that actually is reviewed to be like PhotoShop. Didn’t I just say that photo stuff is BIG on the internet like a couple of paragraphs back? I know, you want to all read about Google or YouTube. That’s cool… Google roundup coming up in a few…
Loma Linda, CA is going fiber. I’m rushing, Google is coming up shortly! Truthfully I really find this article more interesting then another Google or GoogTube roundup.. but I will comply… Google in a minute here…
Slawesome is a very interesting project that was just announced today. It’s voice in e-mail basically. Give it a look while you Google it, okay?
Technically Speaking, more in a few… time to eat lunch!

I was offline for about oh, 12 hours or so, maybe a 15 hours. News of course on the internet moves fast as the speed of light. Let’s do a quick roundup, and then of course I will have to post a seperate blog post for the Google Roundup!
Video game console leader Sony Corp. Thursday demonstrated the online service for its upcoming PlayStation 3, which will let players compete and chat online and download games, music and movies.
Lenovo does the National Basketball Association. Well at least sponsors it.
Technically Speaking, I think I’ll keep this one short, more news in another post!
