Zimbra. Why do all of these types of companies (at least lately) like to start with a “Z”? I think it’s cool, but why? I like this type of software, but right now, I like ZohoX.

Universal Music is now officially part of GoogleTube! suing Grouper and bolt.com. Should be a fun holiday season into the new year for all involved. Grouper was that site that Sony bought for a bargin price. I talked about them early this week in reference to the above article on TechCrunch of course. In anycase, more details are here.

Intel had a 35% drop in income in the 3rd quarter. Regular workers are still awaiting their 3rd quarter bonus checks. Intel’s CEO said it was a “very good quarter“. Regular workers are still awaiting their 3rd quarter bonus checks.

Today’s show - 7 Minutes with Rex Dixon is now online. Here is a rundown of today’s show:

* Grade “C” software
* The Screwdriver Corporation - Charlotte, NC
* Screwdriver Antenna - Springfield, MO

There is quite a difference between “.net” and “.com” as seen in the above two examples; talked about them both on today’s show - 7 Minutes with Rex Dixon

There will be more new items around 6am’ish in the morning; these tech types are ruthless - I’m glad I’m not a CEO of a new startup — I’d hate to get that phone call at 1 or 2am from Mike, Om, Liz, or anyone from these sites trying to get the latest news! Technically Speaking, Rex Dixon is like a 20 hour a day man, and I need my 4 hours of sleep!
