MySpace – Good = Sudan; Bad = No One Home!

Posted by rexdixon on October 9, 2006

MySpace looks to be on the good side of things as using their user base for this Sudan/Darfur benefit concerts they are putting on. On the bad side of things - users are starting to quit the whole social networking hype.

Technically Speaking, I really can’t say either news for MySpace is good. Users leaving, and concerts with no people – not  a good sign.

Social Networks – Rex Dixon still hasn’t been invited!

Posted by rexdixon on October 9, 2006

Wallop still hasn’t sent Rex Dixon his invite. I guess they are holding a grudge for the amount of negative press I’ve given them. No big deal, as we can all read this great article on social networks. You can also read the Rex Dixon opinion I left there; and Technically Speaking it isn’t on the side of Wallop!

Posted by rexdixon on October 9, 2006

For the Windows Mobile lovers here is a preview of the new WinMobile OS – code named Crossbow. Take a peak of the article here on Engadget.

GoogleTube announcement this week? Maybe.

Work.com looks to be a good site for small businesses to be checking out. Read about it on Web Worker Daily.

Photoshow.com is a site worth checking out. Looks like TechCrunch has the lowdown on what they are all about. We will have to keep an eye on them. Interesting concept, but as always – Technically Speaking will the normal people that are not into the internet actually buy on to this concept?
