On another web site that I am on there was a comment regarding sharing sex, religion, and personal information with your business customers. I think this pretty much is a common sense thing, but let’s take a moment to go over the rules again.
Religion – Don’t discuss this with a client unless you are in the business of RELIGION!
Politics – Don’t discuss this with a customer unless you are in the business of POLITICS!
Sex – Don’t discuss this with a client unless you are in the business of SEX!
Personal Information – Living under a rock? Have you not heard of IDENTITY THEFT? Don’t share what you don’t need too. Share only what you need to release to conduct business, period. I believe these are simple rules to follow. They are common sense; Technically Speaking.
